Delegate Householder moved to amend the amendment on page 1, line 14, by striking the word, “alteration” and inserting the word, “transition”;

And,

On page 2, line 33, by striking the word, “alteration” and inserting the word, “transition”.

And,

To amend the bill, by striking out the title and substituting therefor a new title, to read as follows: Eng. Com. Sub. for House Bill 2007— A Bill to amend the Code of West Virginia, 1931, as amended, by adding thereto a new section, designated §30-3-20; and to amend said code by adding thereto a new section, designated §30-14-17, all relating to prohibiting certain medical practices; defining terms; prohibiting irreversible gender reassignment surgery to a minor; prohibiting the providing of gender altering medication to a minor; providing exceptions;  establishing an internal effective date.
